10 Random Facts About Dawnell

1.      I am originally from Kentucky, but I lived in Tequesta, Florida for nearly 20 years. I moved to San Antonio, Texas when I married Paul. After living in San Antonio for a little over 7 years, Paul's company transferred him to Palm Bay, Florida.  I am living in Florida again!

2.      I am a wife and mother. My daughter is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. She majored in Social Work. I am very proud of her.

3.      My husband, Paul - is Dutch. He is a firmware developer and works with wireless networking.  He is all about 802.11 these days.  He is brilliant and absolutely PERFECT. I am also very proud of him!

4.      I learned to SCUBA dive at the wonderful age of 40! Now - I don't know why I waited so long. Now Paul and I are playing a bit of golf. It is not pretty.

5.      I love cats of which we have two. They are named "Bonnie and Clyde."  Don't mention this to our cats, but Florida has a lot of birds. We also like to "bird watch". We have seen sandhill cranes, wood storks, egrets, curlews, and herons.

6.    I love to travel. We have been lots of places. I love to read. In fact, I will read almost anything.

7.    I am a HUGE Texas Longhorn fan. Getting my MSLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) from UT Austin was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for me. I am SO very proud of that accomplishment. 

8.      By profession, I am a Technical Writer. I think I was a Tech Writer for a decade before I knew what it was called. I write boring security documentation that few people ever read.

9.      Our garage is a mess. I need to loose weight. We have a swimming pool.

10. It is wonderful to be alive!
